Some useful bits of dialect when/if you ever stumble across any derbyshire yoths..

what you saying? how do you say it? What do you really mean? example
a pronouced 'a', as in the way a small child pronouces the alphabetical 'a' I, as in me. "a thought that yer cunt do that won there.."
a-up/ay-up like 'hey' but 'a', then add an 'up' - then said summet like that sickly sweet fake lemon/lime drink 7-up '7-up ' hello, or occasionally used as a 'oi!' type statement "A-up matey, hows tricks?"
cunt exactly like 'blunt' but wiv a 'c' instead fo the 'bl' couldnt "yer cunt pass me that hammer cud yer?"
yer like 'purr' but with a 'y' sound - 'yurr' - and then its said abruptly short 'you' and/or 'you are' and sometimes, depending on its context, 'your' "yer dont wanna lean on that ugly bird unless yer desperate!"
mint, mega, skill, ace as they normally are said really really really quite good "A ragged me BMX over that jump there.. it were mint!!
won as its normally said one "hang-on won minute.. a think the jonnys bost"
fost as in 'frost' but with out the 'r' first "a came fost"
bost as in 'frost' but with out the 'f' or 'r' burst "SHIFT!, am bostin for a waz!"
waz as in 'Daz' the cleanin product Piss "SHIFT!, am bostin for a waz!"
chonabart 'chon' as in John, 'ab' as in the muscle and 'art' as in er,. art, dummy! What are you on about? "then the blue cat flew across the sky.."
intit 'in' and 'tit' isnt it "that bright thing in sky.. it is the sun intit?"
lean as its normally said to have sex "shes well fit.. a wunder wot lucky couldnts leanin on her?"
couldnt 'cud' and 'unt' the rudest word on the planet and/or every womans favourite word. ever. "yer dippy couldnt"
shurrup 'shu'; using a strong sounding letter u, and 'rup' shut up "shurrup before a kick yer 'ed in!"
rate as its normally said right "thats rate tharis then"
bint as in 'mint' but with a 'b' instead of an 'm' a woman "yer silly bint"
giglet sounds giblet a wanton, lascivious girl, from the Middle English word 'gigelot' "wit-woo, look at that giglet"
tharris or tharis 'thaa' and 'ris' that is "thas rate tharris"
jobbernowl 'job' and 'urr' and 'now' and 'el' an idiot "don't be such a jobbernowl"
snudge as its normally said a verb meaning to be idle "he snudged about in his wank pit til teatime"
owed up as its said normally hold on/up "Owed up a minute yer cant cum before me"
fribbler as its said normally a verb to describe someone who is vocal in their appreciation of women, but who is also nervous of their consent "He fribbled this bint in front of everyone in the office, and then backed off as soon as he noticed she was interested"
yoth 'yoth' as in broth but with a 'yer' sound youth "alrate yoth!"
younker 'youn' and 'ker' a young gentleman or knight "slapped up dapper like a younker"
